Solvra

Does this sound familiar?

The signs an agency has outgrown its founder-run operations.

  • Every project still needs you to unblock it.
  • You find out a project lost money only after it has been delivered.
  • Scope creeps, and nobody owns the conversation with the client.
  • Hiring more people made things messier, not faster.
  • You cannot step away for a week without work stalling.

What a fractional COO takes on

The operating side, run with you.

Delivery and project cadence

How briefs come in, who owns what, how work is reviewed, and how capacity is planned, written down and run the same way every week.

Margin visibility

Project-level profit and utilisation, so you know whether a project is making money while there is still time to change it.

Team structure and accountability

Roles and ownership that are explicit, so decisions stop routing through the founder by default.

A leadership rhythm that outlasts the engagement

A weekly operating rhythm run alongside you, then handed over once it holds.

Who does the work

Led by someone who has run agency operations.

Ameya Jalihal ran growth and operations for an agency, and eventually its delivery cadence and P&L visibility as COO, before founding Solvra. That experience is the basis for this service. It predates Solvra and was not a Solvra client engagement.

Questions

What agency founders usually ask first.

What is a fractional COO?

A senior operator who runs the operating side of your business part-time, instead of a full-time hire. They own the delivery cadence, the process and the numbers, so you can stay focused on strategy and clients.

Who is this for?

Founders of marketing, creative and digital agencies where the founder is still the bottleneck for delivery, project margins are only visible after the fact, and growth has added complexity rather than profit.

How is it different from hiring a consultant?

A consultant usually hands over a recommendation. A fractional COO stays and runs the cadence with you until it holds, then hands it over. Solvra's approach is to stay through implementation.

Does this replace my team or take over client delivery?

No. The work runs through your existing people and clarifies roles, process and accountability. Solvra does not take over delivery of your client work.

How does it start?

With a Diagnostic: a focused review of the business, its numbers, its systems and its constraints. That defines the scope and confirms fit before any larger engagement begins.

What does it cost?

There is no fixed price list, because scope varies too much to make one honest. The cost depends on how involved the role needs to be, and it is agreed in writing after the Diagnostic and before any commitment.

Is this only for marketing agencies?

This page is written for agencies because that is where the founder's operating experience is. Solvra's operations audit and other services apply to other founder-led businesses too.

Want to see if this fits your agency?

Start with a Diagnostic. It shows where the operating drag is and whether a fractional COO is the right fix.
